Take Action to Push Medicaid Expansion Over the Finish Line in 2023!

Show your love this Valentine's season by advocating for

affordable healthcare for all North Carolinians

SEARCH encourages our legislature to pass Medicaid Expansion for NC, preferably early in 2023. Here's what you can do now to support this initiative, as part of NC Justice Center's “Love Thy Neighbor” campaign to let our legislators know this issue is important to their constituents in Mitchell and Yancey Counties:

Thursday, January 26 from 5:00 - 7:00pm

POSTCARD WRITING PARTY -

@ Homeplace Beer Company in Burnsville

Join SEARCH in writing postcards to our legislators at a table on the enclosed porch at Homeplace. We will provide legislators' addresses, postcards, stamps, and some talking points on why we are encouraging their votes for Medicaid Expansion. (Drinks and food are available for purchase from Homeplace Beer and Hog Hollow Pizza.)

This is a drop-in event with no registration needed, but we would love to know that you will be stopping by! Let us know by emailing SEARCH at searchwnc@gmail.com.
